Early adulthood is an at-risk group of sleep disorders. This research aims to determine the effect of Al Jarol Miyyah audio on sleep disorders among university students living in an Islamic boarding school in Purwokerto.</p> <p><strong>Method</strong>: This research applied a quasi-experimental study using a pre-posttest with a control group design. The sample calculation in this study used consecutive sampling. A total of 72 respondents participated in the study, which was divided into intervention and control groups. The data analysis used in this research were univariate analysis and bivariate analysis.</p> <p><strong>Result</strong>s: The research showed the influence of implementing Al Jarolmiyyah audio on sleep disorders among students. It was found that there was a decrease in sleep disturbance scores in intervention group respondents after being given Al Jarolmiyyah audio therapy with p-value = 0.001, indicating that there was a difference in sleep disturbance scores before and after giving Al Jarol Miyyah audio.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>: Al Jarol Miyyah audio therapy can reduce sleep disorders. Most of the patients received haemodialysis. Despite its benefits, haemodialysis also causes adverse effects which stimulate several disturbing symptoms for patients.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Objective:</strong> This study was to portray the main symptoms burdening CKD patients with haemodialysis.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Methods:</strong> A descriptive study investigated the symptom burden experienced by 99 CKD patients undergoing haemodialysis. The Dialysis Symptom Index (DSI) was used for assessing experienced burden symptoms.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> at least 14 symptoms have burdened more than half of respondents. The big three main symptoms were found. The first common symptom experienced by respondents was fatigue and loss of energy 75.76%, followed by dry skin and decreased sexual interest by a similar percentage 66.67 %.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> Chronic illness patients who underwent haemodialysis were mainly burdened with symptoms such as fatigue, lack of energy burdened dry skin and lack of sexual interest. Because women of reproductive age have a high risk of exposure to cervical cancer, various prevention efforts and adequate knowledge are needed.</p> <p><strong>Aim: </strong>The purpose of this study was to analyze the determinant factors associated with knowledge about cervical cancer prevention in women of reproductive age.</p> <p><strong>Method: </strong>This study was descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The number of respondents was 58, and they were randomly selected. This study analyzed six factors contributing to the knowledge of women of reproductive age level in preventing cervical cancer. In addition, a logistic regression was performed to investigate this study.</p> <p><strong> </strong><strong>Result: </strong>The study showed that two variables (age and distance) significantly influence cervical cancer prevention knowledge at p=0.042 and 0,001, respectively. Based on the Pseudo R-Square results, the Nagelkerke value was at 0.538. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi pengalaman pasien dengan COVID-19, khususnya mereka yang terkonfirmasi positif pada gelombang awal pandemic.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Methods. </strong>Metode kualitatif dengan desain fenomenologi digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan wawancara mendalam digunakan dalam proses pengambilan data, dan teknik <em>purposive sampling </em>digunakan untuk perekrutan partisipan. Data telah tersaturasi pada wawancara ke enam, namun wawancara dilanjutkan hingga diperoleh transkrip data 14 partisipan yang dianalisis menggunakan metode tematik analisis.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Results.</strong> Empat tema ditemukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu 1) Gangguan fisik, 2) Pengalaman psikologis, 3) Dukungan sosial, dan 4) Pengelaman spiritual, dengan 9 subtema dan 27 pernyataan signifikan.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>. Non-pharmacological management with complementary therapies that can be used to treat high blood pressure is autogenic relaxation therapy, progressive muscle relaxation and music therapy. This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of autogenic relaxation therapy, progressive muscle relaxation and music therapy (Autoresis) to reduce blood pressure in the elderly.</p> <p><strong>Objective:</strong> To determine the effect of providing a combination of autogenic therapy, progressive muscle relaxation and music therapy (Autoresik) on clients with uncontrolled hypertension.</p> <p><strong>Method:</strong> The research method used was a case study method and used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. This intervention was given for 6 days with a duration of ± 20 - 30 minutes per day. This intervention is given for 6 days with a duration of ± 20 – 30 minutes per day. The data analysis used in this research is the Wilcoxon test.</p> <p><strong>Results:</strong> The client's blood pressure after being given the intervention decreased with an average blood pressure of 167 mmHg (systolic) and 93 mmHg (diastolic). Sexuality counseling is needed to identify sexual problems and restore sexual relations between patients and partners. The sexuality counseling model that can be used is the Permission, Limited Information, Specific Suggestion and Intensive Therapy (PLISSIT) model.</em></p> <p><em><strong>Method:</strong> Case studies apply implementation based on evidence based practice (EBP) in nursing care. Nursing intervention using the PLISSIT sexuality counseling model was carried out to 1 respondent in Kemutug Kidul Village 1/3 on 2, 3, and 4 Desember 2022. The data collection instrument used was the Sexual Quality of Life-Female questionnaire (SQOL-F).</em></p> <p><em><strong>Results</strong>: After the intervention of sexuality counseling using the PLISSIT model for 3 days, there was an increase in the results of the SQOL-F questionnaire from 51 (moderate) to 68 (good). The average increase in breast milk production <br>was 71 -83 ml. <br>Conclusion: There was an increase in breast milk production after the combined therapy of <br>hypnobreastfeeding and oxytocin massage. This case study aims to apply the influence of pursed lips breathing therapy with modified balloon blowing on changes in frequency and depth in the children of the ISPA dean. Methods: Methods used by researchers using Evidence Based Nursing (EBN). The respondents were three to five-year-olds with ISPA disorder with inefficient walking problems and ineffective breathing patterns. Pursed lips breathing technique with modified balloon blowing is performed for 3 cycles in 1 cycle for 20 seconds. Results: After 14 nursing visits in 7 days in the morning and afternoon, i.e. pursed lips breathing with a modified balloon blowing technique, the result was that there was a change in the frequency of breathing on the first day of the intervention at An. The impact of anemia in pregnancy can reduce the immune system resulting in fetal death in the womb, abortion, birth defects, low birth weight. During childbirth, anemia can cause uterine inertia, the mother becomes weak, causing prolonged labor, while during the puerperium bleeding can occur.</p> <p><strong>Objective.</strong> Reporting case of juice effect serving among anemia pregnant women</p> <p><strong>Methods.</strong> This research was conducted with a case study on a pregnant woman with anemia in Kemutug Kidul Baturraden Village. The intervention given was in the form of beet juice which was consumed once a day in the morning for 7 consecutive days. The research aims to determine the effectiveness of applying the butterfly hug technique and promoting coping in chronic kidney disease patients with helplessness problems.</p> <p><strong>Methods. </strong>A case study using the implementation of evidence-based practice in nursing care.</p> <p><strong>Results.</strong> After intervention with the butterfly hug technique and coping promotion in chronic kidney disease patients with helplessness problems for seven days, there was a significant increase in the patient's empowerment. That indicated by the evaluation score of the helplessness response after suffering from chronic kidney failure. Before the intervention, a score of = 39 was at a moderate level of helplessness. After the intervention, a score of = 60 it means that the less helpless the patient responds, the more empowered the patient is.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>. Applying the butterfly hug technique can encourage patients to develop positive feelings such as more confident, calm, more accepting their current conditions, and able to communicate better with other people. Meanwhile, coping promotion helps patients to use their abilities and support systems to overcome stressors. There is a need for a greater comprehension of the essential components that influence nurses' development of cultural competence, despite the fact that research on cultural competence and its effect on patient satisfaction already exist</p> <p><strong>Objective</strong>: The objective of this study is to identify and understand the key factors influencing nurses' development of cultural competence. </p> <p><strong>Method</strong>: A systematic literature research was done to find the factors that might affect nurses' cultural competency in order to fill this gap.</p> <p><strong>Results</strong>: A search of electronic databases yielded 59 scientific articles, including six papers revealing a range of key factors influencing cultural competence in nursing practice. These factors encompassed various dimensions, including individual nurse attributes, educational interventions, and organizational support.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion</strong>: By recognizing these factors, healthcare organizations can design targeted interventions and educational programs to promote cultural competence among nursing professionals. Indonesian people tend to have low physical activity due to advances in technology, especially in the fields of electronics and transportation, and a lazy lifestyle. Low physical activity can cause an imbalance in lipids which causes HDL levels.</p> <p><strong>Objective: </strong>This research was conducted to determine the relationship between physical activity and HDL levels in patients with dyslipidemia through a literature study</p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong>This research uses a literature review as a research methodology to answer research questions</p> <p><strong>Results: </strong>Based on the Pubmed, science direct, and Sagejournal databases, 7865 article results were obtained that matched search keywords with publication years from 2014-2023. Next, articles were identified based on accessible articles and full text obtained from 3473 journals. The articles were screened again based on the title and abstract and selected 27 appropriate articles, then re-identified based on the research objectives, resulting in 7 articles that met the objectives.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The effective duration of physical activity is moderate duration ≥ 600 METs a week (±0.82–0.94 mg/dL) and high duration ≥ 3000 METs a week (±0.64–0.84). Some effective physical activities are water resistance (±8.08), resistance training (±7.00 mg/dL), water aerobics (±4.49 mg/dL), jogging (+2.1-3.3 mg/dL), swimming (+ 1.6–3.3 mg/dL), dance-dance revolution (+1.5–3.4 mg/dL), international standard dancing (+1.0–2.7 mg/dL), and cycling (+0.6–1.8 mg/dL).
